PROJECT 1000 MOURNS THE DEMISE OF AN IROKO, CHIEF JOHN ODEY

It is with great sadness but with total submission to the will of God that we, the members of Project 1000© received the sad news of the transition of a great man, an Iroko, a leader and a proud son of Yala to the realms of glory. Hon. Chief John Odey was a man ahead of his time, he led from the front and lived his best life but, life came for him too fast. We hope the generations of youths now present has learned that leadership is in service and how you live your life determines how and what you will be remembered for.
We as Project 1000© will continue the legacy of building bridges for generations yet unborn and as a group we will mourn our leader’s passing. We use this medium to declare a solemn time of mourning and reflection for this illustrious son of Yala and urge the Yala nation to never forget the good deeds of this man who increased our influence on the national and International stage.
Adieu Iroko
Adieu Hon. Chief John Odey.
Signed:
John Friday Ebriku
